San Antonio Added More Than 3,000 Jobs From November to December

Glad to hear the jobless number has dropped in Texas for the 4th consecutive month.  This also means good news for San Antonio and the area:

San Antonio also continued growing. The Alamo region added 3,200 jobs from November to December, a 0.4 percent increase for the month. On a yearly basis, the region experienced a 2.6 percent boost. The Alamo region incorporates the eight counties that make up the San Antonio-New Braunfels metropolitan area.

The region recorded gains in the government, trade transportation and utilities, and professional and business services sectors, each of which last month reported an additional 1,000 jobs.
